Owner FAQs
Thank you for choosing Dozer Supply for renting equipment. Here is everything you need to know about the rental process:
1. Signing up: To begin the rental checkout, you need to create an account. Account verification usually takes less than 24 hours. If there are any issues during the verification process, we may request more information from you. Once approved, you can start renting equipment.
2. Choosing equipment: You can add multiple machines to your cart from different owners and locations in a single order, just like on Amazon. You can search for a specific machine by make, model, or equipment category. You can also filter your search by equipment type, attachment configuration, hours, year, and weight. Once you find the machine you need, click on "Add to Cart" and specify the estimated job start date and minimum duration. You can also select attachments if needed.
3. Dozer Supply badges: When browsing equipment, you may come across badges such as "Top Owner" or "RPO Available." Top Owners are high-quality equipment owners with a wide selection of machines and services. They provide transportation and maintenance services during the rental, expediting order processing. RPO Available indicates an option to purchase the machine within the first 6 months of the rental at a discounted price.
4. Placing an order: Once you have added machines to your cart, click on "Checkout" to review your order. Here, you can add transportation details and review the rental terms. During checkout, you can adjust the rental start date and estimated duration, as well as provide the location where you will receive the equipment. Transportation estimates will be provided within 30 minutes of order confirmation, and a formal quote will be sent within 24 hours. You will receive notifications via email and text messages throughout the delivery process. Transportation charges will appear on your first billing statement.
5. Credit check and payment methods: Credit approvals are required to ensure a safe and secure rental experience. The credit approval process does not impact your credit score and is conducted only once a year. You will be contacted only if there is an issue with the approval. We require an ACH or credit card to be set up within 72 hours of order confirmation.
6. Billing frequency: You will be charged automatically every 28 days after the first machine in your order has been delivered. You can view your billing statements from your account.
7. Minimum rental period: The minimum rental term is 1 week.
8. Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours after receiving your transportation quote.
During your rental:
9. Usage limit and excessive wear: Equipment can be used up to 45 hours per week and no more than 180 hours per month. Hourly overage charges will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. You will be charged for excessive wear to ground engagement tools, tire tread, and undercarriage.
10. Insurance: A commercial liability insurance policy is required, and a valid certificate of insurance (COI) must be submitted during account setup. COI submissions should be sent to support@rubbl.com.
11. Rental confirmation: You will receive an email and text notification once your order is confirmed and in progress. If the rental equipment is not available, we will notify you immediately and find a suitable replacement.
Receiving and using your equipment:
12. Receiving your equipment: You will receive email and text notifications during the transportation of your equipment. A designated site contact must be accessible via phone during the transport and must be present at the drop-off location to receive the equipment. The site contact must perform the requested check-in inspection to verify the condition of the equipment.
13. Operating your equipment: Ensure operators conduct a daily walk-around inspection, clean radiators and air filters daily, grease applicable areas and attachments, and maintain fluid levels as defined by the operation manual. Monitor the equipment for error codes, and report any damage or accidents within 24 hours.
Returning your equipment:
14. Starting the return process: Call off rent either through your online account or by contacting Dozer Supply directly. Before pickup, you need to complete an inspection to verify the condition of the equipment, including any damage or excessive wear. You will receive notifications with a link to perform this inspection.
15. Cleaning and restoring equipment: You are responsible for cleaning the cab, undercarriage, and tires/tracks. All fluid levels must be returned to their full level. Air filters and radiators should be cleaned, and ground-engaging tools should be reviewed and replaced if necessary. Grease applicable areas and attachments, bleed auxiliary hydraulic lines for attachments, and have a designated site contact available during pickup.
After your rental:
16. Final inspection: The owner will perform a final inspection to verify the equipment's condition and fluid levels. If any issues are discovered, you will be contacted immediately.
