Insurance & Protection
Dozer Supply prioritizes protecting and insuring your equipment throughout the rental process. Here's how we ensure the safety and security of your equipment:
1. Renter Verification: We thoroughly vet potential renters before approving them to rent your equipment. This includes conducting background checks, verifying their business information, and checking their credit history. We only work with responsible renters who meet our strict criteria.
2. Equipment Inspection: Before the rental, we conduct a detailed inspection of the equipment to document its condition. This includes taking photos and noting any existing damage or wear and tear. This allows us to track the equipment's condition and protect you from any false claims of damage.
3. Insurance Coverage: Renters are required to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) that verifies their liability insurance coverage. This protects you from any potential damages to your equipment caused by the renter. We also provide damage protection coverage for every rental, up to $500,000. This ensures that your equipment is covered in case of any damage or loss during the rental period.
4. Daily Maintenance: We require renters to conduct daily maintenance on the equipment, including cleaning radiators and air filters, greasing applicable areas, and maintaining fluid levels. This helps prevent any major issues and keeps the equipment in good working condition.
5. Operating Restrictions: We have specific operating restrictions in place to protect your equipment. For example, equipment cannot be used in hazardous environments or near nuclear plants or exclusion zones. Our equipment managers also approve each job site to ensure equipment suitability.
6. Theft and Location Security: To prevent theft, we use a proprietary GPS device that is installed on your equipment. This device allows us to track the location of your equipment and provides an extra layer of security. If the device is tampered with or removed, we are immediately notified.
7. Inspections: Throughout the rental period, we conduct inspections to monitor the condition of the equipment. We notify both the owner and the renter when an inspection is due. Inspections include detailed photos and videos to document any changes in the equipment's condition.
8. Preventative Maintenance: We track and schedule standard 250-hour service intervals for the equipment while it's being rented. This ensures that the equipment receives timely maintenance and helps prolong its lifespan.
At Dozer Supply, we take the security and protection of your equipment seriously. We have comprehensive measures in place to safeguard your equipment and provide you with peace of mind.
